Surfactant Wetting and Leveling Agent for Water Based Paints and Coatings
Products of Yunsong Chemistry Are Mainly Divided into Four Parts.
YS-W1030 fluoro wetting agent can significantly reduce the surface tension of aqueous systems, improve the substrate wettability, and effectively solve the problems of shrinkage and crater.
The fluoro surfactant is able to reduce the substrate surface tension down-to less than 20 dynes. The excellent surface tension reduction make it unique compared with traditional organic based or silicone based agent. It provides great wettability and dispersion for water borne coatings.
With the addition level as low as 0.1% to 0.3%, you would get very good performance. Where strong cratering is an issue, fluoro surfactant should be tested.

How to use
The surface tension can be significantly reduced at a dosage of 0.1% of YS-W1030.
For example: emulsion 50% + water 50% + YS-W1030 1.2%, the surface tension is determined to be 16-18dyn/cm. In general, the recommended dosage is 0.05~0.2%.
In the production process, it can be added in the latter part of the paint making with low-speed dispersion. If necessary, it can also be added by hand (for first aid on the painting site).
Packaging and Storage
The product should be packed in a 25kg plastic drum. Please keep it in a cool and dry place away from light, and the storage temperature should be 5-35ºC to keep the package intact. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.

This product is free of PFOA, PFOS, PFHxS and their derivatives.
